DIY Goodness! Honey Hair and Skin Food Recipes

Vitamin rich honey has proven to be the perfect skin and hair food. This sticky sweet treat hydrates, moisturizes and even provides an anti-inflamatory effect for the body. Honey Hair Mask
1 tablespoon of honey
1 egg yolk
½ tablespoon almond oil, olive oil or grapeseed oil
1 tablespoon yoghurt.
*Recipie can be doubled or tripled depending on the thickness of hair.
Mix ingredients, apply liberally to hair and leave on for 15-30 minutes . Rinse well to reveal soft and moisturized hair.

Cleopatra’s Milk and Honey Bath

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup powdered milk
1 tablespoon jojoba oil
Add concoction to bath water. Soak for 15-20 minutes, let your skin absorb the goodness, and rinse.

Lemon Honey Facial
Simple facial treatment that opens pores and rejuvenates skin.
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Smear mixture on face and let sit for 20-30 minutes. Rinse first with warm water and then cold water to close the pores. You skin will feel moisturized and polished with tightened pores.
